The most popular way to set up your giving is by determining what you would like to give to the Sunday Weekly Offering and Weekly Second Collection Group. This way you set it up once and you’re done! You can always go back and make updates and changes. When there is a special one-time collection, you can always choose to do that in real time too.
Your Sunday Offering is your weekly or ongoing giving that contributes to the mission of St. John Neumann as a Catholic Community here in North Las Vegas. You can set up your giving as a recurrance as your prefer: weekly, monthly, etc..
The Weekly Second Collection Group is the weekly collection for specific programs needs and ministries during the year. The most convenient way to use this option is to set your giving to WEEKLY. That way your weekly gift goes to the second collection designated for that week: for example. Examples are: Liturgical, Music, Hospitality, Faith Formation and others. Archidocesan Collections are the annual collections scheduled during the year. Holy Days are the special occasion collection during Litugical Feast Days and Holy Days of Obligation.
Second Collections for the Month of… This are the individual second collections scheduled for the current month. These update as the calendar year advances according the schedule of Second Collections for the year. Choose these as one time gifts. You’ll want to check back monthly to make your giving choices.
ADDITIONAL ON GOING COLLECTIONS:
The Land Load Debt Reduction collection is on the first of the month. This helps to reduce the balance of the loan on the land our church is built on. This collection is part of the Second Collection series, but if you’d lilke to make a special one time donation, you can click on this choice as well.
Food Pantry Many people love to give to this ministry that helps those in our community struggling with food insecurity. If you’d like to make an additional donation to this vital ministry, outside the scheduled 2nd collections, you can click on this option as well.
